Need shower rebuild advice in Balwyn? We help when a leaking shower has reached the point where a more complete solution may be the better long-term option.
Some showers can be repaired neatly, but others show signs of long-term waterproofing failure, major movement, or deterioration that has gone beyond a simple surface fix.
In Balwyn, we often see this in established homes, premium ensuites, and tiled showers that benefit from careful repair work. When the shower condition is more advanced, rebuild advice can be the smartest path forward. If you are comparing options, our main shower rebuild page explains the broader Melbourne service as well.
We consider whether the shower is still a good candidate for repair or whether the problems are more widespread.
We help you understand what a repair can realistically achieve and when a rebuild makes more sense.
The aim is to avoid repeat issues and move toward a more durable shower solution.
People searching for a shower rebuild in Balwyn are often dealing with a bathroom that has had ongoing leaks or visible deterioration for some time. In those cases, honest advice matters.
If the shower may still be repairable, we can also point you toward leak repair or regrouting where appropriate. Further reading is available in our guides on leaking showers, cracked grout, and loose tiles.

The space is pretty narrow but they made it feel a lot more open and modern. Tiles are straight, finish is neat, and the drainage works properly now which was our biggest issue before. They were easy to deal with, turned up when they said they would, and didn’t leave a mess behind. Happy with the result.

Ended up being cheaper and way more reliable. Were very happy with the finish. No more worrying about leaks which is the main thing we wanted. Pretty straightforward process and no issues with the team.
Thank you for the brilliant work and go extend to replace the seal strip and extra corking, allow the corner become perfect again. Thanks heaps
Got the shower regrouted and it’s come up great. The floor looks clean again and the grout lines are sharp. Now the rest of the bathroom looks average next to it haha, might have to get that done too. Good stuff.

I’m very happy with the results. Loose tiles are now solid and the grouting looks fantastic overall. A very professional job. Time was important to me and you started and completed the job as planned. Thanks again, guys. Much appreciated.

A beautiful job by the shiny shower team. Perfect craftsmanship, I am very impressed. It isn't looking like new tiles for our shower floor.

He arrived on time each time which is no feat and was much appreciated as we negotiated home and work life. Daniel also did a fantastic job with our bathrooms - each having several issues: water damaged tiles and minor leaks (Causing various flow on effects to ceilings and floors). I highly recommend Daniel. Our bathrooms look great and more importantly are waterproofed and sealed.
Great service. I was able to book in quickly and they turned up on time fixed my shower hinges and then cleaned before they left. Happy with the final product and saved me from having to get a new shower screen. Will definitely use again if need.

We had a few renos going on but a full bathroom reno was not in the budget. From first in-person consult, to booking via their online system was easy and timely. Daniel came out to do a full regrout with epoxy / re-silicone all completed in a day. I can now shower with ease without mouldy silicone and failed grout! I will definitely use them again for our upstairs bathrooms 😊

They were great to deal with, patient, understanding, and took the time to understand what she needed instead of rushing through the job. We decided to change it to a shower base and will use an adhesive floor mat to help reduce the risk of slipping while showering. I really appreciated how thoughtful and considerate they were with her situation. It didn’t feel like just another job to them.
These guys are pros when it comes to shower grout. Our showers look like new again. Thanks!
Excellent job, professionally done. Attention to detail, friendly service, you can't ask for more. The house was brand new in 1995, this is the second job to freshen up the shower, to re-grout and eradicate mould. Many thanks!!!

We had a leaking shower and were having trouble finding the exact cause. The team carefully inspected the shower and identified that the problem was coming from the shower screen. The quality of the grouting work was excellent — everything looks clean, precise, and completely refreshed. You can tell they take real pride in their work and pay attention to the small details. What really stood out was going above and beyond! They even did the silicone around my basin at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful touch and made a big difference to the overall finish. Professional, efficient, and genuinely lovely to deal with. I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing grouting or sealing work done!

Finding an owner-operator who actually does the work himself rather than passing you off to a sub-contractor is so rare these days, but Daniel treats your home like it’s his own. He just finished resealing and regrouting both of our shower bases with epoxy grout, and the craftsmanship is next-level. The job was completed to such a high standard, and the cleanliness throughout the process was incredible, not a speck of mess left behind. If your shower needs repair, don’t hesitate or risk getting caught out with sub-contractors. Having the owner himself complete the job makes all the difference. Booking Daniel is easily the best decision you can make to get your showers looking brand new again! 🚿✨
Put on new white grout which has made a huge difference to our shower tiles. Lucky it wasnt a leak as we cant find these tiles anywhere anymore. Daniel did a comprehensive leak detection test to make sure and it put my mind at ease before the job.
