Need shower leak detection in Carnegie? We help narrow down where the moisture is coming from so you can make a better repair decision.
Leak detection is useful when you know there is moisture around the shower but the exact source is still unclear.
In Carnegie, this is common in units, family homes, and updated bathrooms with common grout and sealant wear, especially where showers have been repaired before but the underlying issue has not been fully confirmed. If you are comparing options, our main shower leak detection page explains the broader Melbourne service as well.
We look at what you have noticed and where the moisture is appearing.
The goal is to work out whether the likely issue is grout, silicone, waterproofing, or something bigger.
Once the cause is clearer, the next step becomes much easier to plan.
People searching for shower leak detection in Carnegie are often trying to avoid wasting money on the wrong repair. Understanding the likely cause first leads to a smarter decision.
If you already know the problem is active water escape, you may also want to compare this page with our shower leak repair service. Further reading is available in our guides on leaking showers, cracked grout, and loose tiles.

We had a few renos going on but a full bathroom reno was not in the budget. From first in-person consult, to booking via their online system was easy and timely. Daniel came out to do a full regrout with epoxy / re-silicone all completed in a day. I can now shower with ease without mouldy silicone and failed grout! I will definitely use them again for our upstairs bathrooms 😊

There was a lot of mould and rotten wood underneath, so they had to remove the shower base and redo the waterproofing properly! It made a huge difference! I've got before and after photos and the improvement is very clear! They also sorted a few cracked tiles in another bathroom as part of a separate shower repair. Everything was done quickly and Daniel was very professional. 5/5 stars!
Put on new white grout which has made a huge difference to our shower tiles. Lucky it wasnt a leak as we cant find these tiles anywhere anymore. Daniel did a comprehensive leak detection test to make sure and it put my mind at ease before the job.
Matt was transparent on the pricing, 10% discount, deposit, balance to pay all made clear. Thanks Daniel for respecting our home & go the second mile to delay your lunch to ensure the epoxy sets well, prioritizing results above convenience.

Great service. I was able to book in quickly and they turned up on time fixed my shower hinges and then cleaned before they left. Happy with the final product and saved me from having to get a new shower screen. Will definitely use again if need.

We had a leaking shower and were having trouble finding the exact cause. The team carefully inspected the shower and identified that the problem was coming from the shower screen. Finding an owner-operator who actually does the work himself rather than passing you off to a sub-contractor is so rare these days, but Daniel treats your home like it’s his own. He just finished resealing and regrouting both of our shower bases with epoxy grout, and the craftsmanship is next-level. The job was completed to such a high standard, and the cleanliness throughout the process was incredible, not a speck of mess left behind. If your shower needs repair, don’t hesitate or risk getting caught out with sub-contractors. Having the owner himself complete the job makes all the difference. Booking Daniel is easily the best decision you can make to get your showers looking brand new again! 🚿✨

We experienced full transparency on the quote too, a 24 hour window for 10% discount, deposit & balance of payment. Nothing left in doubt. No uncertainty here. Only time will tell whether the quality of the waterproof epoxy & low maintenance will prove true. We were assured it will. There is one sad thing though - Daniel delayed taking his lunch until the job was well completed & the epoxy well set! Thanks, Daniel, for your "no compromise" attitude towards excellent results!

He arrived on time each time which is no feat and was much appreciated as we negotiated home and work life. Daniel also did a fantastic job with our bathrooms - each having several issues: water damaged tiles and minor leaks (Causing various flow on effects to ceilings and floors). I highly recommend Daniel. Our bathrooms look great and more importantly are waterproofed and sealed.
