Need shower leak detection in East Melbourne? We help narrow down where the moisture is coming from so you can make a better repair decision.
Leak detection is useful when you know there is moisture around the shower but the exact source is still unclear.
In East Melbourne, this is common in heritage apartments, terraces, and neatly renovated inner-city bathrooms, especially where showers have been repaired before but the underlying issue has not been fully confirmed. If you are comparing options, our main shower leak detection page explains the broader Melbourne service as well.
We look at what you have noticed and where the moisture is appearing.
The goal is to work out whether the likely issue is grout, silicone, waterproofing, or something bigger.
Once the cause is clearer, the next step becomes much easier to plan.
People searching for shower leak detection in East Melbourne are often trying to avoid wasting money on the wrong repair. Understanding the likely cause first leads to a smarter decision.
If you already know the problem is active water escape, you may also want to compare this page with our shower leak repair service. Further reading is available in our guides on leaking showers, cracked grout, and loose tiles.

We experienced full transparency on the quote too, a 24 hour window for 10% discount, deposit & balance of payment. Nothing left in doubt. No uncertainty here. Only time will tell whether the quality of the waterproof epoxy & low maintenance will prove true. We were assured it will. There is one sad thing though - Daniel delayed taking his lunch until the job was well completed & the epoxy well set! Thanks, Daniel, for your "no compromise" attitude towards excellent results!
Matt was transparent on the pricing, 10% discount, deposit, balance to pay all made clear. On day of the job, Daniel arrived with materials to protect the carpet, & after the job, wiped down the laminate floor dirtied by his work shoes. Thanks Daniel for respecting our home & go the second mile to delay your lunch to ensure the epoxy sets well, prioritizing results above convenience.

They were easy to deal with, turned up when they said they would, and didn’t leave a mess behind. Happy with the result.

A beautiful job by the shiny shower team. Perfect craftsmanship, I am very impressed. It isn't looking like new tiles for our shower floor.
Exceptional service! The team was professional and completed the work on time. Highly recommend.
Put on new white grout which has made a huge difference to our shower tiles. Lucky it wasnt a leak as we cant find these tiles anywhere anymore. Daniel did a comprehensive leak detection test to make sure and it put my mind at ease before the job.
