Need shower rebuild advice in Footscray? We help when a leaking shower has reached the point where a more complete solution may be the better long-term option.
Some showers can be repaired neatly, but others show signs of long-term waterproofing failure, major movement, or deterioration that has gone beyond a simple surface fix.
In Footscray, we often see this in apartments, renovated homes, and older bathrooms with a mix of repair issues. When the shower condition is more advanced, rebuild advice can be the smartest path forward. If you are comparing options, our main shower rebuild page explains the broader Melbourne service as well.
We consider whether the shower is still a good candidate for repair or whether the problems are more widespread.
We help you understand what a repair can realistically achieve and when a rebuild makes more sense.
The aim is to avoid repeat issues and move toward a more durable shower solution.
People searching for a shower rebuild in Footscray are often dealing with a bathroom that has had ongoing leaks or visible deterioration for some time. In those cases, honest advice matters.
If the shower may still be repairable, we can also point you toward leak repair or regrouting where appropriate. Further reading is available in our guides on leaking showers, cracked grout, and loose tiles.

Shiny Shower lived up to their name. Daniel did a great job, and the end result was magnificent. The shower looked brand new, as if it's never been used. Great job!
We were very happy with their service. Daniel and Mark were very cooperative, efficient and friendly.
A beautiful job by the shiny shower team. Perfect craftsmanship, I am very impressed. It isn't looking like new tiles for our shower floor.

Finding an owner-operator who actually does the work himself rather than passing you off to a sub-contractor is so rare these days, but Daniel treats your home like it’s his own. He just finished resealing and regrouting both of our shower bases with epoxy grout, and the craftsmanship is next-level. The job was completed to such a high standard, and the cleanliness throughout the process was incredible, not a speck of mess left behind. If your shower needs repair, don’t hesitate or risk getting caught out with sub-contractors. Having the owner himself complete the job makes all the difference. Booking Daniel is easily the best decision you can make to get your showers looking brand new again! 🚿✨

The space is pretty narrow but they made it feel a lot more open and modern. Tiles are straight, finish is neat, and the drainage works properly now which was our biggest issue before. They were easy to deal with, turned up when they said they would, and didn’t leave a mess behind. Happy with the result.
I was so impressed with their 1st job, I had to call them to do our ensuite as well. Very happy!
Matt was transparent on the pricing, 10% discount, deposit, balance to pay all made clear. On day of the job, Daniel arrived with materials to protect the carpet, & after the job, wiped down the laminate floor dirtied by his work shoes. Thanks Daniel for respecting our home & go the second mile to delay your lunch to ensure the epoxy sets well, prioritizing results above convenience.
Excellent job, professionally done. Attention to detail, friendly service, you can't ask for more. The house was brand new in 1995, this is the second job to freshen up the shower, to re-grout and eradicate mould. Many thanks!!!
I’m very happy with the results. Loose tiles are now solid and the grouting looks fantastic overall. A very professional job. Time was important to me and you started and completed the job as planned. Thanks again, guys. Much appreciated.

We experienced full transparency on the quote too, a 24 hour window for 10% discount, deposit & balance of payment. Nothing left in doubt. No uncertainty here. Only time will tell whether the quality of the waterproof epoxy & low maintenance will prove true. We were assured it will. There is one sad thing though - Daniel delayed taking his lunch until the job was well completed & the epoxy well set! Thanks, Daniel, for your "no compromise" attitude towards excellent results!

There was a lot of mould and rotten wood underneath, so they had to remove the shower base and redo the waterproofing properly! It made a huge difference! I've got before and after photos and the improvement is very clear! They also sorted a few cracked tiles in another bathroom as part of a separate shower repair. Everything was done quickly and Daniel was very professional. 5/5 stars!

They were great to deal with, patient, understanding, and took the time to understand what she needed instead of rushing through the job. We decided to change it to a shower base and will use an adhesive floor mat to help reduce the risk of slipping while showering. I really appreciated how thoughtful and considerate they were with her situation. It didn’t feel like just another job to them.
