Need shower rebuild advice in Toorak? We help when a leaking shower has reached the point where a more complete solution may be the better long-term option.
Some showers can be repaired neatly, but others show signs of long-term waterproofing failure, major movement, or deterioration that has gone beyond a simple surface fix.
In Toorak, we often see this in premium homes, renovated bathrooms, and hotel-style shower finishes. When the shower condition is more advanced, rebuild advice can be the smartest path forward. If you are comparing options, our main shower rebuild page explains the broader Melbourne service as well.
We consider whether the shower is still a good candidate for repair or whether the problems are more widespread.
We help you understand what a repair can realistically achieve and when a rebuild makes more sense.
The aim is to avoid repeat issues and move toward a more durable shower solution.
People searching for a shower rebuild in Toorak are often dealing with a bathroom that has had ongoing leaks or visible deterioration for some time. In those cases, honest advice matters.
If the shower may still be repairable, we can also point you toward leak repair or regrouting where appropriate. Further reading is available in our guides on leaking showers, cracked grout, and loose tiles.

By the time we found Shiny Showers we were honestly over it, but they handled everything properly from the start and gave us a lot more confidence in the trade industry. Daniel is such a great guy and im happy to recommend him and his team to anyone who needs bathroom and shower work from now on. Thanks for everything mate.
Shiny Shower lived up to their name. Daniel did a great job, and the end result was magnificent. The shower looked brand new, as if it's never been used. Great job!

He arrived on time each time which is no feat and was much appreciated as we negotiated home and work life. Daniel also did a fantastic job with our bathrooms - each having several issues: water damaged tiles and minor leaks (Causing various flow on effects to ceilings and floors). I highly recommend Daniel. Our bathrooms look great and more importantly are waterproofed and sealed.

I've got before and after photos and the improvement is very clear! They also sorted a few cracked tiles in another bathroom as part of a separate shower repair. Everything was done quickly and Daniel was very professional. 5/5 stars!

We had an ongoing shower leak and were quite worried because we couldn’t figure out where the water was coming from. They took the time to properly inspect it and found that the shower screen was leaking. They fixed the problem with regrouting and resealing, and the work was done really well. Everything was neat and professional, and they explained what the issue was and what needed to be done. It’s a big relief to finally have the shower leak sorted. Thank you to the Shiny Shower team for the great work. I would definitely recommend them to anyone having shower leakage problems.

We experienced full transparency on the quote too, a 24 hour window for 10% discount, deposit & balance of payment. Nothing left in doubt. No uncertainty here. Only time will tell whether the quality of the waterproof epoxy & low maintenance will prove true. We were assured it will. There is one sad thing though - Daniel delayed taking his lunch until the job was well completed & the epoxy well set! Thanks, Daniel, for your "no compromise" attitude towards excellent results!

The quality of the grouting work was excellent — everything looks clean, precise, and completely refreshed. You can tell they take real pride in their work and pay attention to the small details. What really stood out was going above and beyond! They even did the silicone around my basin at no extra cost, which was such a thoughtful touch and made a big difference to the overall finish. Professional, efficient, and genuinely lovely to deal with. I’d highly recommend them to anyone needing grouting or sealing work done!
Great service. I was able to book in quickly and they turned up on time fixed my shower hinges and then cleaned before they left. Happy with the final product and saved me from having to get a new shower screen. Will definitely use again if need.
I was so impressed with their 1st job, I had to call them to do our ensuite as well. Very happy!
Exceptional service! The team was professional and completed the work on time. Highly recommend.

The space is pretty narrow but they made it feel a lot more open and modern. Tiles are straight, finish is neat, and the drainage works properly now which was our biggest issue before. They were easy to deal with, turned up when they said they would, and didn’t leave a mess behind. Happy with the result.
Got the shower regrouted and it’s come up great. The floor looks clean again and the grout lines are sharp. Now the rest of the bathroom looks average next to it haha, might have to get that done too. Good stuff.

Excellent job, professionally done. Attention to detail, friendly service, you can't ask for more. The house was brand new in 1995, this is the second job to freshen up the shower, to re-grout and eradicate mould. Many thanks!!!
