Need shower leak repair in Kensington? We help stop water escaping from the shower and explain the most practical repair path before the damage spreads.
Leaking showers in Kensington often start with cracked grout, worn silicone, movement around the base, or waterproofing that has slowly broken down over time.
In Kensington, we often see this in townhouses, terraces, and family bathrooms with a mix of original and updated finishes. Fixing the cause early can help prevent staining, swelling, and moisture damage in nearby rooms. If you are comparing options, our main shower leak repair page explains the broader Melbourne service as well.
We look at what the shower is doing and where the moisture is showing up.
The repair depends on whether the issue is grout, silicone, waterproofing, or a larger failure.
Moving early can reduce the chance of bigger bathroom repairs later on.
People searching for shower leak repair in Kensington usually want to stop water damage quickly, but the best result comes from fixing the cause rather than patching over the symptoms.
You can also read our broader guides on leaking showers and shower base leaks if you want more background before requesting a quote. Further reading is available in our guides on leaking showers, cracked grout, and loose tiles.

Got the shower regrouted and it’s come up great. The floor looks clean again and the grout lines are sharp. Now the rest of the bathroom looks average next to it haha, might have to get that done too. Good stuff.

The space is pretty narrow but they made it feel a lot more open and modern. Tiles are straight, finish is neat, and the drainage works properly now which was our biggest issue before. They were easy to deal with, turned up when they said they would, and didn’t leave a mess behind. Happy with the result.

You can tell straight away this one’s been done with a lot more care. The falls to the drain are spot on, it looks clean, and the whole base feels solid. Honestly, such a relief to have it fixed properly by actual professionals. I very much recommend Daniel and Shiny Showers for your shower work :) Thank you Daniel and your amazing team.
Put on new white grout which has made a huge difference to our shower tiles. Lucky it wasnt a leak as we cant find these tiles anywhere anymore. Daniel did a comprehensive leak detection test to make sure and it put my mind at ease before the job.

On day of the job, Daniel arrived with materials to protect the carpet, & after the job, wiped down the laminate floor dirtied by his work shoes. Thanks Daniel for respecting our home & go the second mile to delay your lunch to ensure the epoxy sets well, prioritizing results above convenience.

Every step was performed thoroughly and with care. Daniel explained each step from the grout used down to the tile sealer. The grout lines are clean and the tile surfaces restored to their former sheen. The screen doors were cleaned and the shower door moulding replaced with new. We picked Daniel because of his tiling background and we wanted someone that has the expertise to fix any issues if they pop up during the job. Happy to recommend Shiny Shower!!
Great service. I was able to book in quickly and they turned up on time fixed my shower hinges and then cleaned before they left. Happy with the final product and saved me from having to get a new shower screen. Will definitely use again if need.

We experienced full transparency on the quote too, a 24 hour window for 10% discount, deposit & balance of payment. Nothing left in doubt. No uncertainty here. Only time will tell whether the quality of the waterproof epoxy & low maintenance will prove true. We were assured it will. There is one sad thing though - Daniel delayed taking his lunch until the job was well completed & the epoxy well set! Thanks, Daniel, for your "no compromise" attitude towards excellent results!
I’m very happy with the results. Loose tiles are now solid and the grouting looks fantastic overall. A very professional job. Time was important to me and you started and completed the job as planned. Thanks again, guys. Much appreciated.

Finding an owner-operator who actually does the work himself rather than passing you off to a sub-contractor is so rare these days, but Daniel treats your home like it’s his own. He just finished resealing and regrouting both of our shower bases with epoxy grout, and the craftsmanship is next-level. The job was completed to such a high standard, and the cleanliness throughout the process was incredible, not a speck of mess left behind. If your shower needs repair, don’t hesitate or risk getting caught out with sub-contractors. Having the owner himself complete the job makes all the difference. Booking Daniel is easily the best decision you can make to get your showers looking brand new again! 🚿✨
Peter and Dee did a perfect job re-grouting and sealing two showers. Thanks for all your help!
From booking to job completion, these guys were awesome. We had a very small window of time to do the job, they quoted and completed the job within days. Cannot thank them enough for doing what they did. And the job was brilliant. Great finish,…From booking to job completion, these guys were awesome.
